Winter came back!
Wooo Furiends
Winter came back! Wooooohooooooooooo!! We are happy sled dogs again!
There was more snow falling while we were running. It was about -20C, that's perfect sled dog weather!! I almost caught a grouse. It was sitting on the trail, but it flew away just before I could get it. I was a bit distracted after that for awhile. I really wanted to chase that bird, but I was in the middle of the team and you just can't chase nothing from there!
We took one of the long trails and we were all tired when we got home! This hill is just before our yard. It's fun when we leave cuz we run down it like lunatics and make Mom screech! Coming home we usually take a break on the way up the hill! Climbing is alot work!
Mom is not working for awhile after this week so we will be going running lots! I hope!! My leader dog training is gonna get started again!

So boring....
Woooo furiends
It's boring here! It's really warm. We hate warm!!
Me and Reggae ran around our pen a little bit, but we didnt find anything interesting to do!
It is very boring being a sled dog when it's 7C outside. Boring!! It's too hot to run; the snow melts and then it gets icy. Mom gave us some new toys and bones to keep us occupied, but it's still boring!
We are all just laying around, hoping it gets cold again before all our snow is gone!

We finally got to run!
Wooo wooo furiends
Yesterday it finally warmed up enough to get out and play. It was about -20C and it felt like spring! Mom hooked us up and took us out. It was pretty slow going.
Not too many people had been out and our trail was covered with heavy snow. Breaking trail is hard, hard work! Mom had to help us alot! She got a good workout too!
Course, there was so much loose snow that Mom could get off the sled. She had the snowhooks in and flipped the sled on it's side. We have done that a few times and dragged her awhile, but this time she flipped it herself on purpose! She freaks out when we do it, but apparently it's ok for her....weird! Don't we look happy! Reg-a-loo was a very happy lead dog! Sundin was happy cuz he wasn't a lead dog and the rest of us were just happy to be out in the snow and sunshine!
This is the trail coming back into our yard. The willows are getting very heavy and making the trail narrow! We've had a lot of snow this winter!
Those silly weather people are saying it's going to get very warm this weekend and maybe even rain! I sure hope that doesn't happen. That will really ruin our trail. It will just turn to ice and that is dangerous for us to run on and Mom won't take us on dangerous trails! I don't want to have to stay in my yard again!!!!

It is frosty!
Wooo wooo furiends
It is very frosty here lately...for weeks actually it has been very cold! Today it is -40C!!
We are frosty huskies! That's my brother, Delta!
We have been practicing our pathetic looks! Founder is very good at that look! Looking pathetic gets us in the house quicker sometimes!
I prefer to stay warm by playing with my buddies. It's harder to find someone to play with when it's this cold though!
Fortunately, Reggae agrees with me....It's never too cold to wrassle!
